As someone born into a boating family, I grew up around boats ranging in size from 15 feet to 50. As a child, I sailed with my family on Beneteaus and Catalinas, and cruised on Jeffersons and Vikings. Later, I put these childhood experiences to work as a top ranked US Laser sailor. While I was participating in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic campaigns, I was introduced to Vince Morvillo of Sea Lake Yacht Sales. Sea Lake became a major sponsor for my 2000 campaign and Vince Morvillo became a lifelong friend. I returned from the campaigns with a great deal of sailing expertise and a lifetime of worldly experiences. I was fortunate to join the Sea Lake sales team last year as a first round draft pick!
